Each bed comprises of headboard, footboard, two side rails, mattres base and 8 dowels.
Squeeze a small amount of glue in the holes in the side rail, do not use too much glue as it could cause the rails to split when the dowels are pushed in. One large blob is sufficient.
Push the dowels into the holes (gently to allow the air to escape).
Put a small amount of glue into the corresponding holes on the headboard.
The groove on the side rail needs to be upwards and inwards to support the mattress base.
Push the siderail fully home into the headboard, so that the excess glue squirts out.
Repeat for the other side.
Push in the second rail.
Place some glue in the other ends of the siderails.
Push the remaining 4 dowels into the siderails.
Place some glue in the holes on the footboard and push onto siderails.
Wipe off any excess glue and stand the bed on a flat surface.
If you have any, clamps could be used, otherwise ensure the bed is upright and square.
Drop in the mattress base to check the bed is square.
Allow to dry overnight or as per glue manufacturers instructions.
